Shandong launches month-long probes to fight air pollution
2019-4-17

Apr 17 (LTIT) –China's eastern, coastal province of Shandong planned a new round of environmental checks from Wednesday April 17-May 17 to combat air pollution, local authorities said on Tuesday April 16.

On April 17, eight inspection teams will be sent to Shandong's 16 cities. Nine cites will be targeted after they ranked poorly in China's air quality ranking in March.

The nine cities are Jinan, Zibo, Zaozhuang, Dongying, Weifang, Taian, Linyi, Liaocheng, and Binzhou.
