China's refined copper output in May fell 5.2% year-on-year to 711,000 tons

June 18 (LTIT) –  According to data released by the National Bureau of Statistics on Monday, China's refined copper output in May fell 5.2% year-on-year to 711,000 tons, down 3.9% from the previous month.

 

China's lead production in May increased by 7.1% year-on-year to 452,000 tons, but it is the lowest level since September 2018. The Bureau of Statistics usually does not provide data for January and February.

 

China's zinc output in May increased by 7.4% year-on-year to 480,000 tons, and alumina production in May increased by 0.1% year-on-year to 6.243 million tons.

 

China's iron ore output in May increased by 1.5% year-on-year to 70.787 million tons.
